Ambassadors is looking for a part-time Office Manager to join our Office Support Team at Ambassadors East.

About the role

As Office Manager at Ambassadors, you’ll work at our reception three days a week and make it your mission to have Ambassadors be a joy to visit.

To do this, you’ll form a team with the Office Coordinator at Ambassadors East and Office Coordinator at Ambassadors Herengracht. You’ll be working Monday, Friday, and another day in consultation.

Your colleagues and clients will be a mix of local and international, so being fluent in Dutch and English can definitely ease up the conversation.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Performing receptionist duties: greeting visitors and answering and directing phone calls
  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the reception area, keeping management informed
  • Providing direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings and events, booking travel and shipping packages
  • Managing all aspects of the office’s space/infrastructure planning and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested
  • Providing drinks and snacks for our clients
  • Keeping our fridges and snack boxes full stocked
  • Working with the team to help organize occasional team and client events
  • Making sure the studio is kept tidy throughout the day
  • Keep track of office supplies and stock

About you

We want that special someone who can help create a great vibe. You should also:

  • Have 2+ years of office management, hospitality or customer service experience

  • Be enthusiastic and positive minded
  • Have a customer service attitude
  • Have strong time-management and people skills, flexibility, and multitasking ability
  • Be organized, sharp, and detail-oriented
  • You’re hands-on and take initiative – if you see something that could be improved, you’ll take control and do it
  • Be fluent in English and Dutch
