Ambassadors is looking for a motivated full-time PR & Marketing Intern to join our team at our HQ in Amsterdam.
About the role
Are you eager to dive into the world of PR & Marketing at a leading creative technology company? Ambassadors is looking for a motivated and talented PR & Marketing Intern to join our Amsterdam team for 6 months, starting in January 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn directly from our Business Development team. You'll play a vital role in supporting our team, contributing to initiatives that showcase our craft, enhance our reputation, and connect us with the creative industry and brands. You'll focus specifically on developing your skills in content writing, social media management, event support, and market research within the dynamic context of high-end creative production.
Day-to-day tasks may include:
Content Creation: Assist in writing and editing compelling content for various platforms, including our website blog, social media channels, case studies, newsletters, and potentially press releases, ensuring our tone of voice is consistent and engaging
Social Media Management: Support the management of Ambassadors' social media presence (especially LinkedIn, Instagram); help plan content calendars, draft posts, monitor engagement, and identify relevant conversations and trends
Event Support: Assist the Sales & PR Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing company events, award show submissions, and industry gatherings – from logistical support to potential on-site assistance
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, potential clients (agencies and brands), relevant media outlets, and award opportunities to support PR and new business strategies
PR & Communications Support: Help maintain media lists, track press coverage, and assist in preparing materials for PR outreach
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales & PR Lead and liaise with our creative, production, and technical teams to gather information for marketing materials
General Support: Provide administrative and organizational support for marketing and PR activities as needed
About you
Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field (HBO/WO level)
Fluency in Dutch (written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in English is a strong plus
A demonstrable passion for the creative industry (advertising, film, design, VFX, animation, music)
Excellent writing and communication skills in Dutch, with a keen eye for detail
Familiarity and active interest in social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn with a hands-on mentality
Well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment
A positive attitude, open-mindedness, and strong interpersonal skills
