Cube is looking for a Marketing Manager based in our Amsterdam HQ. Cube is founded by Ambassadors Lab which is the studio for innovation and creative technology within Ambassadors.

About the role

Our team consists of technology enthusiasts working on new products and workflows that change how the creative advertising industry works.

Our key software product, called Cube, is a SaaS-based creative production platform that offers digital asset management, creative collaboration, and creative automation solutions used by leading brands and agencies such as Booking.com, VodafoneZiggo, Squarespace, Bol.com, TBWA and 180.

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team who will manage the team consisting of our Brand Comms Manager and intern, working closely with Ambassadors PR, Management and business development teams. You will be responsible for managing the marketing team, defining Cube's marketing strategy, coming up and running campaigns to increase Cube’s visibility, and support sales in lead generation. You will be collecting data and analysing campaign results, being able to report back to the teams/management.

We’re a closely-knit team where everyone has a large degree of responsibility, freedom to work independently and provide feedback. We help each other out by supporting ad hoc tasks when needed and by sharing responsibilities.

Day-to-day tasks may include

Marketing strategy and campaigns:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Successfully navigating and executing marketing activities and campaigns to meet business objectives
  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget constraints

Content creation:

  • Manage and help produce high-quality digital content including social media posts, blogs, website/email copy, client case studies, testimonials, interviews, video snippets and digital events (webinars/rooftop chats/coffee chats/podcasts), etc.
  • Collaborate within PR/Communications, and Business Development to create customer-centric content across a variety of distribution channels
  • Develop a variety of multimedia content and build promotional campaigns that tell a consistent story across our channels. Find ways to repurpose archived or outdated digital content
  • Review, proofread, and provide feedback on all content produced

Leadership:

  • Direct management of Cube’s Brand Communications Manager and the intern.
  • Project management and administration such as preparing marketing meeting agendas, writing notes, and updating project planning trackers
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve marketing operations

Analysis & reporting:

  • Campaign analytics
  • Market trends and media and event opportunities

About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics or relevant field. A Masters degree is a bonus
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working in a small to mid-sized, B2B SaaS company or startup in a Marketing and Communications role. Managerial experience is a huge plus
  • You have experience in marketing SaaS products, gathering market data, understanding competitors, positioning and assisting with marketing and sales enablement
  • You have experience in copywriting (e.g. articles, blog posts, visual content) and content production with strong experience in market positioning
  • You have a good understanding and experience using digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, Google Ads and SEO
  • You’re eager to learn, open to giving and receiving feedback, can manage others and take ownership of the full product marketing lifecycle
  • You’re an excellent communicator and have professional presentation skills, along with being able to craft proposals and generate content
  • You’re a strategic, can-do problem solver with experience in ‘go-to-market’ strategy and providing actionable insights in product marketing performance
  • You’re interested in the latest marketing technologies and platforms
  • You’re proactive, organized, creative and have strong attention to detail
  • You thrive on working with a diverse team of people with different perspectives and from different backgrounds
  • You have very strong or fluent English writing and speaking skills (fluent Dutch is a plus!)
  • You’re eligible to work in the Netherlands
