Ambassadors is looking for a Dutch-speaking Finance Administrator to join our team in Amsterdam.

Full-time / Part-time · Amsterdam HQ

About the role

As part of the Ambassadors finance team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Finance on a range of activities ensuring that the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly. Because you’ll need to deal with financial administration for the Netherlands, it’s important you are a fluent Dutch speaker.

This role can be part-time or full-time depending on the availability of the right candidate – we're flexible.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Checking and maintaining the daily financial administration
  • Checking and processing incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Preparing and executing payments
  • Debtor management
  • Processing the general ledger
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with preparing monthly reports
  • Processing (a part of) payroll and troubleshooting any issues
  • Being a strategic sparring partner for the Head of Finance

About you

  • You have an MBO+ degree in finance, business administration or accounting

  • You are living in the Netherlands
  • You ideally have at least five years of experience as a Finance Administrator or in a similar role
  • You have a good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • You have advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
  • You have experience with accounting software like Unit4 Multivers or Workbook; experience with payroll software like AFAS and ADP is a plus
  • You have great written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • You can work well under pressure to meet tight fiscal deadlines
  • You’re a proactive, pragmatic team player, interested in making a difference in the way we run things
  • You work accurately, professionally and with integrity
  • You can juggle a range of different tasks and show initiative in structuring and prioritizing your responsibilities
  • You like working together with the team to get the best results, but are also able to work independently
